Experiencing the Power of God-Focused Prayer Facilitated by Sue Resig
Starts Aug 24, 2020 7pm EDT
Book-Praying From God’s Heart by Lee Brase
This is a 9 week online ZOOM class facilitated by Sue Resig and taught by the Holy Spirit. As each lesson builds on the next the student has the opportunity to grow and draw nearer to the heart of God. This is a challenging course despite its simplicity. All lessons are required, all homework completed, and sharing in each class required. If you are reluctant to open up about your challenges to be willing to grow this class is not for you, BUT if you have a burning desire to have a closer walk with the Lord be prepared to be blessed.
Book purchase is required; it is no longer in print, but can be found at many second hand online book stores and Amazon. If you are paying more than $12 you are paying too much, keep looking.
Please fill out the following registration to receive notice and links to the class.
Do you ever wonder if your prayers make a difference? Do you feel an increasing hunger for God and to go deeper in prayer? Would having someone come along side you help? Then this day is for you.
Once upon a time, I participated in a small little study group with the book Praying From God’s Heart by Lee Brase. I was barely a Christian, but even then it forever changed the way I pray. Now, at least two decades later, I recently pulled out that book, dusted it off, and facilitated two 9 week studies. And once again, I have discovered what a powerful and meaningful study this is. All those who participated agree; and as a result we now find ourselves offering this same study to you in a concentrated one day format. You will not need a book, just a notebook, your Bible, and a dedicated day.
This day will be like a combination of workshop and relaxing retreat, and you will be blessed by the presence of God through the Holy Spirit, His word, and one another. Your participation by speaking up is expected and necessary to the learning process. You can’t be shy and worried about what others think or how you think you compare. Trust Him, God has a purpose for you, if you keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, He will use you even in the simplest of prayers. What He wants is a willing and obedient spirit and a servant’s heart.
